The hull was designed with many years of experience of manufacturing Coin Operated Remote Control Boats.
We started from the keel and worked up, building in features to ensure successful operation and responsive controls. 
The keel is straight and protects the propellor and rudder from damage when placed on a flat surface for storage or servicing. 
At the bow (front of the keel) we created a nose cone to cut through the water more efficiently as do "real life" super-tankers. The nose cones primary task however is to keep your fleet contained within a floating boom, out of danger from hard edges, weedy shallows, unauthorized hands etc.
