Frequently Asked Questions
Designed for ease of operation and durability, the current range of CMS products represent twenty years of experience and development. Appealing to kids of all ages, not only do they give a good return on investment. They also give a "Wow" factor, encouraging customers to return to your site over and over again.
I can see the potential, I have the space. What else do I need?
  • An electrical power point.
  • A  model arena.
  • A set of models with control system.
  • A secure space for overnight storage, cleaning and battery charging (We can supply a fitted trolley or trailer if local storage is a problem).

  • Optional. Arena features and theming.
Who constructs the arena and how?
  • CMS can do all the work for you, but most customers find it more economic and convenient to use on-site or local labour.
  • Trucks & Cars work best on a smooth painted surface, concrete is of course the most durable for external use, but a properly treated and maintained timber arena will give many years service.

  • Boats are kept contained and out of reach, using the CMS boom system. You can make use of existing lakes etc. or a pond can be constructed using concrete or a Butyl liner over a timber frame. The boats themselves need only 20 cm of water, however if active features like the volcano are to be used, they will require a deeper sump to accommodate the pump.
How difficult is it to set up the equipment?
Simple. Secure the consoles in position, plug and play.
    How much maintenance is required?
In the morning fit the batteries.

At the end of each day remove the batteries and place on charge.
Then wipe the models down with a damp cloth.

A weekly wash and polish is recommended.

A visually attractive site will take more money than a run down site showing the seasons battle scars.

    What about faults and repairs?
The simple modular design and spares kit provided, allow a quick fix for most problems. Should you have more serious problem we are only a phone call away, and can normally ship a service exchange module the same day. If you have your own engineers, we can also supply test boxes and leads to aid diagnosis, and speed up repairs .
You mentioned " theming", tell me more.
CMS can provide any level of theming you require. Unique themes can be costly in labour and materials, but with careful planning an attractive layout can be produced at a price that will pay for itself.

The visual attraction of good theming will draw a crowd, and keep them happily queuing when all player positions are in use.

You mentioned "arena features", tell me more.
CMS arena features are designed to provide challenges of various skill levels which have been proven to increase revenue, and will keep your customers coming back for more.

They range from simple obstacles, to fully interactive models producing sound effects and actions when their sensors are triggered.

    What have you left out?
    Nothing. It's that simple.
